Tideworks in technology joint venture

Tideworks has entered into a joint venture with Brenock Technology, a provider of software applications and consulting services for multiple industries, which aims to deliver enhanced management tools and solutions to port terminals and cruise industry.
The Covid-19 pandemic, with widespread suspension of services and concern about the safety of workers and cruise passengers, has brought unprecedented disruption to marine terminals and cruise lines.
Brentwork and Tideworks, will deliver solutions to help the shipping industry, including the cruise line community to optimise and automate processes as they rebuild from economic setbacks and adjust to new health and safety practices onboard.
Through a combination of Tidework’s scalable terminal operating systems (TOS) and Brenock’s mobile-ready management tools, the companies aim to optimise operational efficiency, reduce costs and boost performance for key stakeholders across the supply chain.
Tideworks’ parent company Carrix, which has expanded and developed its business to support the industry’s changing needs, and sister company SSA Marine will help to support the joint venture.
