First up: Subbu Bhat, VP of Engineering.
Subbu brings a fresh, outside-in perspective to terminal operations, with a strong background of leading software engineering teams across industries. What excites him most about Tideworks? “Solving complex, real-world problems where great engineering directly improves day-to-day operations for our customers.”
Early on, his team delivered a feature aimed at improving physical safety for terminal operators, which was a standout moment for Subbu. “Knowing our software helps protect people on the ground made the work incredibly meaningful. That’s not something I had to think deeply about in past roles.”
As VP of Engineering, Subbu is focused on empowering teams to solve the right problems and the ones that matter most to terminal operations and customer outcomes. “By building reliable, intuitive software, we help our customers work more efficiently, more safely, and with fewer disruptions.”
Outside of work, Subbu practices hot yoga to maintain focus and mental clarity and brings a naturally curious mindset to everything he does.
