Mainsail 10 sets the standard for the next generation of terminal operating systems (TOS) by giving customers the exact tools they need to meet the challenges of today’s demanding terminal environments.

The application is designed to be as incredibly intuitive and contains many cutting edge customizable elements to reflect individual operating preferences. This flexibility enables operations to run as smoothly as possible whenever and wherever Mainsail 10 is deployed.

With Mainsail 10, functions can be performed quickly and efficiently, ultimately leading to positive impacts on your bottom line.

To optimize viewing, users can choose from four available display settings that best reflect ambient lighting conditions, thereby easing eye strain and keeping screen fatigue to an absolute minimum.

From there, Mainsail 10 users can either select default settings or choose from a whole host of configurable browser features to get the exact display that suits them best.

Localization, for example, enables users to display information in the local language. Four options are currently available: English, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Polish, although virtually any language can be added to the system.

Not all countries use the same units of measurement, either, so operators can select either metric or imperial standards. Users can also set preferences for particular values to be maintained throughout the on-screen environment. For example, displays might feature centimeters rather than meters, or yards if preferred to feet.

Beyond these basic adjustable features, there are even more customizable elements.

The zoom feature, for example, allows on-screen features to change size without others being displaced; they simply wrap to the next line. And, because the application leverages responsive web design, Mainsail 10 scales to a variety of devices.

A “favorites” tab can be accessed via the application sidebar, the latter being available as an overlay on any screen. “Favorites” allows the user to instantly select any feature within the application with a single click.

This ease of access is also a feature of the built-in search form. This can be customized to ensure that only relevant information is displayed and also in the preferred order selected by the user.

Within the application, it is also possible to customize the labels assigned to certain segments of forms. As an example, if a terminal operator prefers “carrier” rather than “trucker” when labeling road haulage movements then the option is there to easily manipulate the settings to reflect that.

Similarly, search results can be presented in a variety of formats, returning only the data of interest and in the order designated by the user. Commonly used queries along with the user’s preferred layouts can be automatically saved, allowing the user to quickly access their favorites whenever needed.

When seeking information, the need to repetitively enter the same search criteria has been eliminated for routine tasks. Instead, a group of search criteria can be created and applied to a saved search, allowing one-click future access to those search results.

Mainsail 10 also incorporates an exciting new feature called “dynamic recap,” which are essentially pivot tables users can create to see a snapshot of their terminal. Drag and drop functionality allows users to select container criteria and customize recaps as they wish. Users can easily export the recap results to share with customers or colleagues.

With Mainsail 10, we’ve empowered users to adapt the application to their unique operation and tailor it down to the individual user’s needs. This flexible, customized user experience ensures they can get the job done quickly and keep their terminal running smoothly.
