Tideworks Technology® Inc., a leading provider of full-service terminal management and planning software solutions, today announced Ter Haak Group has selected Tideworks to upgrade its terminal operating platform at the company’s Amerikahaven multipurpose terminal in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Ter Haak Group is one of the fastest growing stevedoring companies in the Port of Amsterdam, and its Amerikhaven terminal is among the first terminals in Europe to implement Genoa version 5.0 in conjunction with Spinnaker, Traffic Control, GateVision and Digital Bridge. The announcement was made at the Terminal Operations Conference and Exhibition for Europe (TOC 2009), where Tideworks is exhibiting in booth B10.
Operated by Ter Haak Group’s United Stevedores Amsterdam (USA) subsidiary, the Amerikahaven terminal is currently utilizing Tideworks’ Genoa Breakbulk Management System®, which was implemented in 2002. As part of the upgrade, Ter Haak will migrate to Genoa version 5.0 and will implement Tideworks’ Spinnaker Planning Management System®, Traffic Control™, GateVision® and Digital Bridge™ to maximize efficiency of its terminal operations.
