Laura joined Tideworks with over 20 years of experience in industries as diverse as Wizards of the Coast, Premera Blue Cross, and Oracle. Laura is responsible for leading efforts to effectively implement and manage business performance, as well as strategic planning and delivery initiatives that ensure Tideworks’ success. She brings focus to the critical roles of Leader, Coach, and Manager. Laura’s passion is building and leading high-performing teams that drive organizational excellence.
Chad joined Tideworks with over 20 years of experience delivering innovative large-scale products and services to market across a range of industries. Heading Tidework’s Product Management organization, Chad is responsible for injecting innovation, continuous improvement, and increased stability across Tidework’s product suite. As an executive, entrepreneur, author and speaker, Chad has had cross-industry impact to businesses through cutting-edge tech and critical foresight. Prior to joining Tideworks, Chad was a Vice President at SAP where he led their Universal ID offering as part of SAP’s Customer Data Cloud product and directed data management products and services supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA ERP.

Gert Kabbedijk is a long-time professional in the field of ICT and organizational requirements analysis and consulting with a full specialization in terminal operations, on both an execution and management level. Coming from a background in terminal operations, he currently oversees Tideworks European operations. In 1996 Gert started a software company specialized in terminal solutions. His business, Sonu Software Solutions was ultimately sold to Tideworks Technology in July 2004. With over 30 years of experience in logistics, project management implementation of new software developments, he has built up a wealth of experience and knowledge in the terminal sector.
Heath Johnson joined Carrix in 1997 as a UNIX administrator. After upgrading the terminal operating systems at all of SSA’s marine terminals from a legacy platform to IBM AIX he became an Oracle DBA and provided leadership for the database group, ushering in Oracle clusters and Standby database. Heath was promoted to the Director IT infrastructure shortly after Tideworks was formed, he brought in new technologies that included Linux clusters, load balancers, Converged Infrastructure Architecture and 10 Gigabit core networks. Since then he has held roles as the Director of International IT for SSA International and more recently the Director IT Services focusing on US based Carrix affiliates.
Hugh Gallagher joined Tideworks in 2005 with more than 15 years’ experience in the transportation industry and has held positions in vessel operations, liner agency services, intermodal, vessel planning, and terminal operations. Hugh most recently served as assistant vice president of emerging technologies managing all aspects of research, development and quality control of Tideworks’ full suite of software applications. Involved in every aspect of the product life cycle from requirements gathering through implementation, Hugh enjoys leveraging his operational experience and an aptitude for systems to help organizations realize effective business solutions.
Mark Bromley joined Tideworks in 2008 and is currently Vice President of Intermodal. During his time at Tideworks, Mark has led many key marine and intermodal project initiatives with great success helping customers maximize the software capabilities to achieve operational efficiencies, while keeping focus on schedule and budget. With over 15 years of experience in terminal operations and implementing terminal technologies, Mark has developed a deep understanding of what is required to successfully meet the business needs of customers. Mark is located in Tideworks Jacksonville, Florida office.
Todd Tatterson oversees Tideworks’ business development group and manages the company’s key business relationships, strategic growth initiatives, and expansion into new markets. Todd’s nearly thirty years of experience in terminal operations supporting new business activities and adoption of Tideworks software portfolio across the globe give him a deep understanding of both operations and technology. Todd serves on the board of Tideworks joint venture partners, Advent eModal and Brenock Technology. He also played a key role in the startup of Manzanillo International Terminal in Panama.
Greg Sharp joined Carrix in 1996 as a member of the team tasked with creating a new terminal operating system that became Tideworks Technology. Most recently, Greg served as the Vice President of Information Technology where he managed the technology infrastructure of Tideworks’ customers, including server hardware and software, data and voice networks, and EDI, and the support services of the organization. Prior to Tideworks, Greg worked as a scientist with Golder Associates developing predictive computational models at nuclear waste sites. During that time, Greg gained experience translating mathematical models into software in a rigorous quality control environment.
Thomas J. Rucker joined Carrix in 1999 as a project manager within the Y2K project team. Shortly after Tideworks was formed, he relocated to Panama where he oversaw IT Operations throughout Central and South America. Thomas then relocated back to Seattle and held the position of Vice President of Product and Professional Services. He was responsible for the innovation and execution of a variety of terminal operating system solutions at marine and rail facilities around the globe. Most recently, Thomas served as the Vice President of Operations for Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT) providing strategic and tactical leadership for the company’s operational functions.
